College of the Desert (COD) utilizes BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. to disburse funds via direct deposit to our students. Student eligible for a disbursement will receive an email to their mycod.us email and/or a green envelope in the mail with instruction and your "personal code" to get started! Students will have the option to select one of the following disbursement methods:

  1. Deposit into a *Personal account
    • No fee
    • Funds typically arrive within 1-2 business days
    • *Use personal account (checking or saving account)
      • Routing and account number required during set-up.
  2. Create a Bankmobile Vibe checking account
    • $2.99 monthly fee
    • Funds arrive same business day

If you are already set up and have selected your preferred disbursement method, no further action is needed. Visit our schedule disbursements webpage to review the disbursements date.

Where do I go with questions about my Refund?

If you have any questions or not sure if you are eligible for a disbursement, please call or email the Financial Aid Office. For technical issues regarding Bankmobile account, use the video below for more information.

Students who previously attended College of the Desert and had a Higher One account or have been inactive at our institution for two or more semesters may need to wait for the Financial Aid Office to update their demographic information with BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. before selecting a new disbursement method.
