What previous interns have said about their experience in our department: "Working
at KESQ/CBS Local 2 as an intern was an amazing experience for me. I gained a lot
of useful experience in a professional setting. The creative service department is
not your typical group of co-workers, it's more like a family. You know that saying
"families are like fudge - mostly sweet with a few nuts" well let's just say there's
a few extra nuts in this fudge. Absolutely loved working with each and every one of
them. Not only did I get daily hands on experience, I made connections that ended up landing me a great job after graduation. If you're looking for an internship
that will allow you to grow professionally and personally while allowing you to explore
your creative side, this is it! You will gain valuable knowledge and skills that will
help you after you graduate." -Genevieve R.
"Interning at KESQ has helped me in many ways! Being able to get hands on and work
with anchors, reporters and most importantly the producers has showed me the ins and
out of working in a news station. The KESQ news team is so helpful and willing to
teach you how to write scripts, produce, edit videos and work with ENPS which is used
in many news stations. This internship is so important and it's the experience that
will help you immensely!" Czarena G.
